“Troy is a Miami artist whose star is quickly rising for his large-scale concrete canvases. To most, concrete is simply the stuff of historical monument and urban jungles but for Simmons, it’s the foundation of his modernist compositions.” Allison Miller, Luxe Interiors + Design Magazine Writer
Simmons’ work is influenced by nature and the Brutalist Architectural Movement of the 1950s. He uses concrete, color fields and organic forms to express his position on the coexistence of different complex theories and ideas. Simmons is represented by JanKossen Contemporary Art (New York/Basel, Switzerland.)
