"BURST!" University of Miami Art Gallery Presents Troy Simmons

MIAMI- The University of Miami is pleased to present BURST! A Celebration of Arte Povera. Featuring artists Troy Simmons along with Martin Casuso and Valeria Rocchiccioli! Curated by Milly Cardoso, BURST pays homage to the Italian art movement Arte Povera. The exhibition showcases a "rebirth" of this radical art movement of the late 1960s/early 1970s. Through bursts of color, the use of found objects, recycled materials, and sheer creativity, the viewer will experience how Arte Povera has served as inspiration for Casuso, Rocchiccioli, and Simmons.
