MIAMI- The University of Miami is pleased to present BURST! A Celebration of
Arte Povera. Featuring artists Troy Simmons along with Martin Casuso and Valeria Rocchiccioli! Curated by Milly Cardoso, BURST pays homage to the
Italian art movement Arte Povera. The exhibition showcases a "rebirth"
of this radical art movement of the late 1960s/early 1970s. Through
bursts of color, the use of found objects, recycled materials, and sheer
creativity, the viewer will experience how Arte Povera has served as
inspiration for Casuso, Rocchiccioli, and Simmons.
BURST! will be on view from February 1st to March 2nd,
2015 at the UM Art Gallery located at the Wynwood Building 2750 NW 3rd
Avenue, Suite 4, Miami, FL 33127. A full schedule of exhibitions can be
