Troy Simmons at SCOPE New York 2015

Miami Artist Troy Simmons will showcase his work at SCOPE New York as the show celebrates its 15th Anniversary in a new location. This year, SCOPE will be hosted across from The Armory Show piers at Metropolitan Pavilion West.

SCOPE NewYork’s convenient and well-appointed venue will host 60 international galleries alongside curated featured programming.

Opening Night: Burst: A Celebration of Arte Povera featuring Troy Simmons

 
 The University of Miami hosted opening night for BURST: A Celebration of Arte Povea featuring artists Troy Simmons along with Martin Casuso and Valeria Rocchiccioli! Curated by Milly Cardoso, BURST pays homage to the Italian art movement Arte Povera.

BURST! will be on view from February 1st to March 2nd, 2015 at the UM Art Gallery located at the Wynwood Building 2750 NW 3rd Avenue, Suite 4, Miami, FL 33127. A full schedule of exhibitions can be viewed at www.as.miami.edu/art. Gallery hours are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 10am to 6pm. *Hours may be subject to change, please call to confirm times. "BURST!" University of Miami Art Gallery Presents Troy Simmons



MIAMI- The University of Miami is pleased to present BURST! A Celebration of Arte Povera. Featuring artists Troy Simmons along with Martin Casuso and Valeria Rocchiccioli! Curated by Milly Cardoso, BURST pays homage to the Italian art movement Arte Povera. The exhibition showcases a "rebirth" of this radical art movement of the late 1960s/early 1970s. Through bursts of color, the use of found objects, recycled materials, and sheer creativity, the viewer will experience how Arte Povera has served as inspiration for Casuso, Rocchiccioli, and Simmons.

Troy Simmons Exhibits at Art Palm Beach 2015

WEST PALM BEACH-- Artist Troy Simmons will display is latest artwork at Art Palm Beach January 21-25, 2015.  His work will be on display with JanKossen Contemporary Art Gallery from Basel, Switzerland at booth #B308.


Inspiration for his current collection is drawn from the evolution of social structure and nature's persistence to coexist.  Those relationships are illustrated in the colors and material used in his work.

Troy Simmons at Context Art Fair 2014

Troy Simmons Work on Display Context

Troy Simmons immersed himself in his latest artwork, exploring the evolution of urbanism and nature’s persistence to coexist. A consistent theme, which echoes true to his intense fascination with nature and modern Brutalist Architecture.
Under the direction of JanKossen Contemporary Art Gallery in Basel, Switzerland, Simmons will showcase his new concrete work during a solo show at CONTEXT Miami Art Fair December 2nd-7th at booth #E75. He will also have several pieces on display at SCOPE Art Show Miami Beach.

Troy Simmons Partners with Francois Frossard Design of Praxis Architecture

MIAMI, FL-  Francois Frossard Design Architecture Firm in Wynnwood's Miami Art District partnered with a select group of South Florida artist for their grand opening event during Art Basel Miami. The space showcased artwork by Troy Simmons, along with artist Maximo Caminero, Ted Van Cleave and Marci Ramos.

 The architectural office also serves as a gallery for local artist to display their work, serving as inspiration for both clients and employees. Troy's work was on display until the end of December, 2014.
