 Here's a preview of my piece in the Audrey Love Gallery in the Bakehouse Art Complex! 

The exhibit "Together We Fly" opens this week with a special Art Basel Exhibition Preview from 7p.m. to 10 pm at 561 NW 32nd Street, Miami!

The focus of this exhibit is the transformation of a utilitarian object into a work of art! This allows artists to go beyond their usual medium while presenting individual artistic views and ideas. This exhibition will make you fall head over heels for the BAC and its artists.

Art collectors from Boca Museum of Art came to Miami's hottest Artist Studios at Bakehouse Art Complex!  The curated tour around the complex was led by Kelli Bodle, Assistant Curator at the Boca Museum of Art. Troy Simmons was selected as one of the featured artists during this tour.

Troy Simmons' Artwork "Deconstruction" was featured by the Museum

  Collectors got a rare glimpse into the creative and typically private worlds of emerging and mid-career artists from across the country.

  19|ONE is the combined efforts of emerging artists in Miami. It is made up of creative people who desire to collaborate and bring the city together to experience good and substantial art, discuss it’s implications in culture, exchange creative ideas, along with providing support and encouragement to local artists through periodic Art Showcases.

I had the opportunity to display my work this weekend at 19|ONE. It was a refreshing change from traditional galleries allowing me to engage with those interested in the art world.

           19|ONE is just around the corner! Make sure you come out this Sunday, November 17th from 6-10pm at 1770 Brickell Ave. You're invited to come and see a showcase of emerging artists from all over South Florida. A few of my works will be on display-- including the mixed-media piece below!

Lucky You! 6 was amazing- as hundreds of people came out for Bakehouse Art Complex's biggest fundraiser! It was a great time to enjoy live music, a special VIP Lucky Lounge, entertainment, food and cocktails!

This year’s theme was Art is My Vice! (Queue Miami Vice soundtrack now!) Many people got lucky and won amazing pieces of art for only $10, the price of our raffle tickets. 

 

  Celebrity Host Kalyn James from Art Loft hosted the fabulous art raffle featuring the work of more than 70 local artists-- including my art. A lucky person walked away with my sculpture, Sticks & Stones!
